Ubuntu has officially released its latest Long Term Support version operating system Ubuntu 20.04.2 LTS. Ubuntu is a widely used Linux distributions suitable for modern computers. Ubuntu runs smoothly on computers with 2 Ghz dual core processor and 4 GB RAM. You can install Ubuntu on PCs with at least 25 GB of free Disk Space. A resolution of 1024 X 768 is recommended for great visual experience.

Ubuntu is an appropriate Linux Distro for users who want to migrate from paid operating systems such as Windows. They can switch over to Ubuntu easy to use Linux Distribution. It provides users with a set of essential tools which they need to run their system effortlessly. It even includes a pre-installed LibreOffice suite, which is compatible with Microsoft office. You can switch over from Microsoft office to Libre Office and perform your day to day office operations on Ubuntu PC. Even for home users, it provides pre-installed multimedia tools.

There is no 32-bit ISO download for Ubuntu latest versions. That is to say only 64-bit Ubuntu ISO download is available. This means that Ubuntu can be installed only on a 64-bit machine. Anyways, the system architecture type is 64-bit nowadays on almost all modern computers (probably post 2007). If you have an old PC with 32-bit architecture you may try some other flavour of Linux such as Linux Mint which is also based on Ubuntu.
